• Wait in line to pay for your rentals (2 - 10 minutes).

So, with the above steps, for two movie/game rentals, you’re seeing at an speculation of .00 - .00 (or more) while spending from 12 - 50 minutes making your choice and checking out. Do this just 2 – 3 times per month and you’re seeing at spending .00 - .00 while wasting 48 – 200 minutes. Make just one trip a week to the rental store and you’re seeing at about .00/month – not including late fees. If you’re rentals are late, add on an additional one per rental, per day. Ouch! That adds up fast.

Renting Your Movies & Games Online

All online movie and game rental sites offer a diverse choice of plans to fit approximately any budget. With the excellent plans at an online movie rental site, you’ll be spending approximately .00 - .00 for unlimited movie rentals, with three movies out at a time. That is, you can rent three movies, watch them, and return them (via pre-paid mail) as many times as possible within the procedure of a month. No driving to the rental store, no spending several minutes wandering the aisles searching for your selections, and no waiting in line. But, best of all, No Late Fees! Keep the movies as long as you like and you won’t be expensed a penny.

Now, lets search for the steps complex with choosing and renting your movies and games at an online rental site, such as Netflix or GameFly:

• Get online and log on to your account.

• Browse the 1,000's of movies/games available.

• Select the movie/game you want. Literally, point and “click”.

• Log off and get on with your day.

• Go to the mailbox 1 - 2 business days later.

• Watch your movies and/or play your games.

• Place your rentals back in the mailbox.

• Log back on and make more selections.

• Repeat.

Now, let’s look at the cost complex with the above steps, and assume that you have the excellent plan of 3-4 movies out at a time, which will run .00 - .00 per month:

• Get online and log on to your inventory (1 - 5 minutes).

• Browse the 1,000's of movies/games available (10 - 20 minutes).

• Select the movie/game you want (30 seconds).

• Log off and get on with your day (another 30 seconds).

• Go to the mailbox 1 - 2 business days later (1 - 5 minutes).

• Watch your movies and/or play your games.

• Place your rentals back in the mailbox (1 - 5 minutes).

• Log back on and make more selections.

So, not counting late fees, you’re rescue .00 - .00 monthly, with no driving, no disappointments at the store because they’re out of your selection, and no waiting in line. You just spent approximately ½ the money on about 4 – 5 times the amount of movie/game rentals for the month. Now you can probably understand why online movie and game rental sites have been so successful. And, with online competition, prices drop even more. In fact, to keep up with the competition, Netflix has dropped All of their plans by .00.

Netflix - The Pros and Cons of the Online Movie Rental assistance

Do you have any idea what are parents had to go through back in the day just to rent a movie? They had to trudge five miles through eight feet of snow to the local video store in frigid, below-zero weather. And when they ultimately arrived there, they only had a choice of twenty or so movies to choose from, none of which were new releases. After they rented a video, they had to hurry home and fast watch it because if it wasn't back by 5:00 the next day, they had to pay a late fee that was twice as much as the former rental. And you know what, they liked it and they appreciated the chance to be entertained.

Fortunately, times have changed and it has come to be a lot easier for people to enjoy the cinematic arts in the comfort of their own living rooms. In particular, the video-rental giant Netflix, now a household name across America, has revolutionized the nature in which a someone is able to rent a movie; providing an online service gift unlimited rentals for one flat monthly rate and no late fees. With delivery and returns provided by the Us Postal service via pre-stamped envelopes, Netflix has come to be an economical, no-brainer for voracious movie watchers across the nation.

Online Movie Rental

Now, as a huge film buff myself, Netflix is just about the most thing to happen to me since cheese in a can. But when I converse with inevitable friends and house who are also big movie lovers and I tell them why they should join Netflix, they seem hesitant and ask a lot of questions. Many seem like the offer seems to good to be true, while others don't see a qoute with the former formula of visiting a video store to rent a movie. Whatever the reason, I have personally found myself having the conversation of why or why not join Netflix sufficient times to reveal from memory and write an article.

Netflix - The Pros and Cons of the Online Movie Rental assistance

So here we are, and as much as I love Netflix, I am also fair in my consider and admit that there are some downsides to the online service that people teetering on the edge of signing up should be aware about. So, without further ado, here are my three big pros and cons of using Netflix.

Pro: Price - The cost of Netflix is without a doubt the cheapest way of going about renting movies, especially if you watch more then three movies a week. My first month as a member, I did the math just to reassure myself that giving Netflix my reputation card amount was a smart decision. I divided the amount of movies I watched that first month by the flat rate of .99 (three movies at a time) and it came out to 87 cents per movie, which if you'll note, is also economy then the price of the favorite and competitive Redbox. Now if I watched that same amount of movies by renting them from a video store at the midpoint price of a rental, it would have cost me around . I'm sorry but that my friends is a steal and by far the biggest pro of Netflix.

Pro: Selection - It has happened to me a lot in the past and I'm sure it has happened to you at one point or another. You catch wind of a low-budget independent festival winner or a critically acclaimed foreign thriller that you assuredly must see. So you go to your local video store to rent it only to have the 16-year-old clerk behind the counter tell you they have never heard of it. Now in the past, your only solution to this qoute would be buying a Dvd copy online. But, if you were a member of Netflix, you're practically guaranteed to be able to rent that movie. With a movie library that offers over 100,000 separate titles, Netflix has by far the biggest collection of films to choose from. I have been a member for practically two years now and there have been three occasions where they did not offer the movie I was seeing for. And in all three of those cases, the movie was issued as "out of print" by the film business that owned the rights, which by law means Netflix cannot offer it for rent.

Pro: Convenience - "No Late Fees," Netflix knows that this statement is by far their biggest selling point and that is obviously why it is splattered all over their advertisements and commercials. But that is not meant to take away from how nice this perk assuredly is to the customer. I probably could afford graduate school with the money I have spent in late fees in my lifetime. And as every person knows, a video store never forgets a late fee. It will stay in their computer for years, haunting you until you pay up. But the convenience of Netflix does not stop with the absence of late fees. Commuting to and from the video store is also eliminated. And their website, where all of your rental selections are made, is so incredibly user-friendly that I seriously know a 5-year-old who navigates it with ease.

Con: New Releases - I started off with the biggest pro of Netflix and here is by far the biggest con. To receive a new publish when it first comes out is incredibly difficult. So that means, those movies that you meant to go see in the theaters but kept putting off until you ultimately missed your chance and now you can't wait to see on Dvd, Netflix will most likely make you wait even longer to watch them. It's a favorite complaint from users that Netflix has found rather difficult to address. A movie's most favorite rental duration is in the first 30 days of it being released on Dvd, and even though Netflix has increased supply of the most favorite titles being released every week, it is not financially smart for the business to match the ask due to the fact that interest in the title will moderately fade. So as a member of Netflix, there is a good chance that the new publish that you have been dying to see might get issued the dreaded "Very Long Wait" as it's availability status. And trust me, the status lives up to its name.

Con: Stuck Without Movies - Depending on what package you sign up for with Netflix (anywhere from 1-8 movies at a time), there will most likely be instances where you will not have a movie at home on a night when staying in, development some butter-coated popcorn and watching a flick is all you feel like doing. The speed at which movies are received and returned are as quick and convenient as they can maybe be (one business day) but occasionally, due to bad planning on your part or a movie not arriving when it is suppose to, you'll be stuck without a movie and pondering just driving to the video store and renting one anyway.

Con: Video Store Blues - Any avid moviegoer or film buff will tell you that there is an unexplainable, practically majestic like potential to visiting a video store. You enjoy walking through the aisles of new releases, comedies or nightmare movies and reading the back of the covers and development your selection. Before joining Netflix, I frequented video market on a very regular basis and I must say that there is a very nostalgic, if not organic palpate to visiting a video store that is lacking with Netflix.

I personally have remedied many of these cons myself by designating Netflix as my former source of renting movies but when I find myself in a situation as explained above in the second con or when there is a new publish I assuredly want to see and Netflix stamped it with a "Very Long Wait," I look send to going to the video store and renting one or two movies every month. Therefore, I still get all the perks of using Netflix but at the same time, don't give up on the video store completely. Kind of like the best of both worlds.

So there you have it, the top three pros and cons of using Netflix. Now, I don't know how many times my seminar has assuredly persuaded someone to give up on video market and jump on the Netflix bandwagon but I will tell you this, if you are Whatever like me and watching movies takes up a indispensable part of your past time, Netflix is by far your best choice and what you should be using to rent movies. The choice and convenience is unmatched an the money you'll save by using Netflix will hopefully allow you to break even with all of the late fees you have been forced to pay over the years.

Rent Movies Online

The next time you're finding for an interesting way to pass the evening, just remember these three words: Rent Movies Online. But what movie will you select? After all, there are undoubtedly hundreds of thousands to choose from (Netflix itself carries over 100,000 in its film library). To help take some of the guesswork out of the equation, I've put together a brief list of movies ready on Dvd and Blu-ray. Before you spend hours staring blankly at the aisles of your local video store, hop online and give one of these a try.

The Green Mile (1999) - Based on the novel by Stephen King, The Green Mile is set on Death Row at Cold Mountain Penitentiary, a place where murderers and rapists come to receive their final punishment. Tom Hanks plays Paul Edgecomb, a prison guard whose world is turned upside down after meeting the gigantic John Coffey (Michael Clarke Duncan), an inmate sentenced to death for the brutal murder of two girls. But is Coffey undoubtedly guilty, and what's up with his bizarre ability to heal the sick and even resurrect a dead pet? A nice blend of the prison film and the supernatural, it co-stars David Morse, Bonnie Hunt, Sam Rockwell, Michael Jeter, and James Cromwell.

Scarface (1983) - Director Brian De Palma shocked the Mpaa with his tale of a Cuban refugee (Al Pacino) who lands in Miami and fast begins to work his way up the criminal ladder. Originally receiving an X rating, the film is filled with mountains of cocaine, a memorable chainsaw scene, and Pacino's Tony Montana cursing his attackers while wielding a machine-gun and firing off grenades. An interesting and wholly over-the-top look at the cocaine boom of the 1980s, and one of Pacino's most bombastic performances (and that's undoubtedly saying something). Co-starring Steven Bauer, Michelle Pfeiffer, Robert Loggia, and F. Murray Abraham.

Oceans (2010) - The French sure know how to make documentaries about nature (Jacques Cousteau anyone?), and Oceans is no exception. With a budget in excess of million, the project took over four years to film and explores the mysteries and beauty of the Arctic, Atlantic, Indian, Pacific, and Southern Oceans. An ideal request for retrial photo for house viewing.

Happy Gilmore (1996) - Adam Sandler stars as a washed-up hockey player with a devastating slapshot and no skating skills. When the Irs threatens to take away his grandmother's house, he turns to golf to raise the vital funds to get it back. But Happy will need to get real good real fast, and he'll have to navigate crocodiles, deranged fans, and Bob Barker along the way. A wacky Adam Sandler comedy co-starring Christopher McDonald, Carl Weathers, and Ben Stiller (in an uncredited role).

Hotel Rwanda (2004) - Don Cheadle stars as Paul Rusesabagina, a hotel owner in Rwanda who must face a series of difficult choices when ethnic violence and genocide erupt in his country. A excellent film with themes similar to Schindler's List, it co-stars Nick Nolte, Joaquin Phoenix, and Jean Reno. Based on a true story.

Once again, anything searching for a ability entertainment contact should remember the words "Rent Movies Online." It's concise, to the point, and conveys the growing amount of moviegoers who are staying home to enjoy the art of cinema in the relax of their own home. Thanks to services such as GreenCine, Blockbuster, and Netflix, you can do the same.
